Hi, I’m Dylan and this is my website. I’m a writer, Patagonia ambassador, recovering fly-fish bum and father, not necessarily in that order. I’m also the author of Headwaters: The Adventures, Obsession and Evolution of a Fly Fisherman, and Closer to the Ground: An Outdoor Family’s Year on the Water, in the Woods and at the Table. My work has appeared in The Flyfish Journal, The Drake, Adventure Journal, Fly Fisherman, GolfWeek and many other publications, and as a producer of the feature-length documentary film, Artifishal. I live with my kids on an island in the Salish Sea.
